Trust our expertise to safeguard your shipments every step of the way.

  • Use a corrugated box or a rigid carton of adequate strength to support the contents securely, ensuring it won’t bend, break, or collapse during transport, regardless of conditions.
  • Check the weight specification of the box/carton carefully to ensure it can safely handle the items without any risk of damage, injury, or failure during transit.
  • Do not over stuff it and ensure you do not exceed the weight specification to prevent shifting and possible breakage during transit, maintaining integrity and safety of contents.
  • Provide internal protection with adequate cushioning material, such as bubble wrap or packing peanuts, to absorb shocks and protect fragile items effectively during transportation and handling.
  • Use strong tape designed for shipping. Tape should be at least 2" wide, but preferably 3" wide to provide maximum security and support throughout the journey, preventing accidental openings.
  • Use proper labeling that clearly shows the origin and destination address, including phone numbers and PIN codes, for smooth handling and swift delivery without confusion or delays.

Some Packaging Suggestions

  • CDs/DVDs: Packing must be in padded envelopes or in blister proof packing to prevent scratches and damage. Ensure that the discs fit snugly within the packaging. Always label the package as "Fragile" to indicate careful handling is required.
  • Sample medical vials: Must have adequate protection inside the packing so that they do not move during transit. Use cushioning materials such as foam inserts or bubble wrap for added security. Clearly mark the package with "Biohazard" or "Fragile" as necessary.
  • Shredded paper: Can be used for packing such materials to provide cushioning and stability. Ensure it is densely packed to prevent shifting during transit. This eco-friendly option can help absorb shocks and protect fragile items effectively.

Some Useful Tips for Packaging International Shipments

  • Ensure that the packing box is suitable in size and strength to hold its contents securely. A well fitted box minimizes movement, reducing the risk of damage during transit.
  • Ensure that the cushioning material is stuffed generously in the box. Proper cushioning absorbs shocks and protects items from impacts throughout the shipping process.
  • Use of strapping is a good way to seal the box as it supports even weaker boxes. This additional support helps maintain box integrity during handling and transport.
  • Fragile items should always be packed by a professional packer with proper markings indicating it as FRAGILE. Professional packing ensures that items are handled with the utmost care and attention.
  • Ensure that specially designed boxes are used for packing floppies and video cassettes. These boxes provide the necessary protection to prevent warping and damage to delicate media.
  • Ensure that while packing sharp items like knives, scissors, etc., the edges and points of these items are fully protected. This prevents injuries during handling and ensures safe transit.
  • Shipments packed in wooden boxes should have an openable lid, which can be opened and relocked again and again. This feature allows for easy access while maintaining security throughout the shipping process.
  • Ensure that no single package weighs more than 35 Kgs. This weight limit helps prevent handling injuries and allows for safer lifting and transportation.
